CARE (Care, Assess, Respond, Empower)

Reconnecting Youth, Inc. CARE (Care, Assess, Respond, Empower) is a school-based and community-based computerized assessment and counseling program that has demonstrated decreased suicide risk factors for at-risk adolescents and young adults. The four-hour program (two hours for assessment, two hours for counseling) is for use by mental healthcare providers, including psychologists, counselors, and social workers. Training is required. CARE is available from Reconnecting Youth, Inc. for a fee.
